The object of the Department work is forming a creative individuality. This individuality must be interesting, scale, original, able to artistic interpretation of the world. The Actor Mastery Department is in charge of such an individuality upbringing by the theatre art means.
The Department lecturers follow the Stanislavsky science about Actor Art and the Laws of the Stage Feeling.
The Commission work is directed into the deep understanding of the Stanislavsky system by students, and also the knowledge of the creative inventions by L.Kurbas, M.Chekhov, E.Grotovsky, V. Mejerholt and others.
The Department provides one of the main directions of training specialists for the circus and stage, as the Actor Mastery is closely connected with the future profession activity of the Academy graduates.
The lecturers with the high theatrical education and rich actor and pedagogical experience provide teaching of the subject “Actor Mastery”.
